Certificate IV in Artisan Fermented Products (Distilling)

This course has been developed by Spirits Victoria, Australian Distillers Association and the National Distilling Institution and is accredited by the Australian Qualified Skilled Authority (ASQA) and follows the Australian standard guidelines and learning outcomes.
The Certificate IV reflects the role of those using artisanal methods to produce distilled spirits. Students will analyse materials and products, develop skills to exercise the judgements that guide the fermentation process and the work of others, and develop an overall understanding of the multiple processes all distilleries need to engage in during production.
Individuals with this qualification apply a broad range of specialised skills and knowledge in varied contexts that involve selecting and operating equipment, coordinating resources and finding solutions to routine and non-routine problems as they arise. They may also have limited responsibility for the organisation of others.
